See how we transformed the outdoor spaces in this dated beach cottage into a luxury, modern farmhouse inspired space with fun Bohemian accents.
While the outdoor transformation was minimal initially, we have big plans for further work in the future off-seasons.

Outdoor Shower Transformation
Let’s start with the biggest outdoor project we tackled for The Princess Tide’s first season!
The outdoor showers adjacent to the pool, next to the open car port got a huge makeover.
I am so proud to say that this project was the brainchild of my father who very meticulously came up with the design and built-out the showers themselves, keeping our guests need for function and comfort in mind.
The previous aged and rotting wood panels were all taken down and replaced with this new design using corrugated plastic sheets for privacy framed with pressure treated wood.
Custom built benches were added in each stall, complemented with hooks so guests now have a place to set clothes down, hang their towel or even sit if needed.
The Shower heads are AHHH-MAZING LED Shower Panels that multi function as a shower or hand-held spout to rinse sandy feet.
Caged waterproof Industrial lighting was wired into each stall for better visibility at night. Trust me, you couldn’t pay me to take a shower in the dark in the previous stalls! Spoooooky!

Ground Level – Pool
At the ground area the pool awaits it’s final transformation. We have spec’d out a GORGEOUS addition of covered outdoor kitchen, to be built and put into service in the near future (no estimate at this time). For now, new (Gray) Adirondack chairs and loungers were placed all around the pool to accommodate seating for large groups.

Mid-Level Deck
The seating was inconsistent, mostly plastic and broken on the mid-level. So Beautiful brand new composite rattan chairs were placed in twos outside each slider so that couples (or individuals) had space to step outside and relax in the fresh air. We kept the original hanging hammock for lazy naps in the shade.

The Top Level Deck
The top level deck wasn’t so much of a transformation as it was just a freshen up.
A rusty old dining set was removed and replaced with a cozy PVC wicker conversation set and 4 new composite Adirondack chairs to create 2 different zones for taking in the sunrise and breathing in the fresh salty air.
Around the corner the existing Rocking chairs were pressure washed and put back into function.
A good power washing and scrubbing of the deck and windows made the deck shine again!
